What
is it about?
The
Liberal Project aims to recognize outstanding
initiatives that promote the liberal values of
good governance, human rights and free trade.
It seeks to acknowledge legislations, policies,
and programs that made an impact in the national
or local scene, and that translated these liberal
principles into practical ideas that engage the
public.
The Philippines, under a Liberal Government, has
had several liberal reforms. It is also the intention
of The Liberal Project to raise public
awareness on these accomplishments, and encourage
support for the liberal agenda.
The Liberal Project hopes to inspire
replication of liberal ideas to allow more people
to appreciate liberal solutions. It is an affirmation
that good governance, human rights, and free trade
reinforce the value of freedom.
