Episode 02: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Liberal Party of the Philippines. A Review of the Various Educative and Informative Events in Manila and Other Parts of the Philippines

In the second episode of the Liberal Times Manila podcast, Liberal Philippines Associate Editor Essa Remoquillio joins Alexandra Cuyegkeng and Ronald Meinardus in the studio to review the various Liberal Party of the Philippines 60th anniversary celebrations. The liberal Foundation actively supported and sponsored many of these activities.

In this episode, we feature two recent publications which we hope will soon be found in every bookshelf of liberals in the Philippines and beyond:

The winning author of our essay writing contest on the "Filipino as a liberal," Marlowe Selecios from Cagayan de Oro, shares with us his definition of liberalism in a Philippine context.

Also, the Vice President of the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY) Frederick Ferié has positive words for the Young Liberals of the Philippines (KALIPI). He joined them for an international workshop in Manila and Baguio on the role of youth organizations in political parties.

Finally, the Liberal Times Manila podcast informs about an international liberal conference in Makati City and a rather unique historical exhibition of the Liberal Party.

As in our first show, Dieter Bachman provides the musical background
