Liberal Family Celebrates Christmas
The growing family of liberals gathered together on 10 December
2010 at the
Liberal Party
of the Philippines (LP) Headquarters in Cubao, Quezon City
to celebrate Christmas, which also became
a toast for
human rights and an extended election victory party of
LP.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty
(FNF), International
Academy for Leadership (IAF) Alumni Group,
Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD), National
Institute for Policy Studies (NIPS), and LP invited friends
who had sworn in as “big L” Liberals, and “small
l” liberals who also have a similar orientation. “We
are happy to see people who are part of our advocacy and who champion
our causes. We will continue to nurture our partnerships and we
trust that in the process, we will contribute to building
a stronger and wider liberal family,” said Mr.
Jules Maaten, FNF Country Director.

The gathering was graced by Department
of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse Robredo
and National Anti-Poverty Commission
(NAPC) Secretary Joel Rocamora.
It was a casual, fun and youthful party with face painting of
liberal organizations’ logos, and a photo booth where a
life-size cut-out picture of President Noynoy Aquino as the highlight.
